The NGV India 2010 Conference, under the theme “Meeting the Demands of India’s Surging NGV Growth” aims to provide all stakeholders active in the Indian and global NGV markets with a timely forum to exchange knowledge and receive vital updates on the industry.
Building on the success of last year’s NGV India Conference in New Delhi, which attracted 510 delegates from 22 countries, the NGV India 2010 Conference moves to Mumbai attracting a new audience to present an innovative platform for local and international specialists to discuss the issues most pertinent to the development of NGV today.
The NGV India 2010 Conference is fully supported by the Indian Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, GAIL (India) Ltd., and hosted by Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL). In addition, the Conference is endorsed by and benefits from the contribution of two of the world’s leading NGV associations, the International Association for Natural Gas Vehicles (IANGV) and the Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association (ANGVA).
For 2010, the NGV India Conference Programme includes keynote, plenary and technical sessions addressing the future of NGV, with particular focus on vehicle supply, supply chain, safety and the policy and mandates affecting the various expansion projects underway. Emphasis will be also given to OEMs and the latest NGV technology with the whole spectrum from 2-wheelers up to heavy duty vehicles covered.
Presentations by senior representatives of key organisations include Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC), Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), Brihanmumbai Electric Supply & Transport Undertaking (BEST), International Association for Natural Gas Vehicles (IANGV), Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicles Association (ANGVA), GAIL (India) Ltd. and Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL). A round table discussion for international and local NGV vehicle manufacturers will also attract the major Indian and International OEMs, providing a crucial forum to discuss future plans, opportunities and the challenges that exist in the market. |
